  • Using Google Forms develop a way for students to reflect on the week of learning.
  • Friday Reflections
    • One to two question about the week of instruction
  • Have students use FlipGrid to reflect on key topics presented that week.
  1. — I started the year with a group seating arrangement which allowed me to have students discuss new ideas in small groups and give each other feedback.
  2. We have switch our notetaking method and really are encouraging kids to make notes their own and include drawings, examples, and use color.
  3. We are trying to give students more time to think about problems and discuss them in small groups.   Not give them the solution.

Reviewing Content

  • Using review sheets for key content
  • Have studetns develop review games for each set of notes using Quizlet, Quizizz.
  1. Study games – sent out to students to help them prepare for assessments.
  2. Small group discussions of ideas that leads to larger group discussions.
  3. Homework is discussed in class and students check/correct their own work.
  4. Use of hands on labs that allow students to see and reflect on class concepts.
